rants.

damnit i cant log into msn.
same problem as before..
they say that i cant log into msn because my contact list isnt available.
WTF!?!?

bloody toot.
sigh.

anw, i was browsing the papers,
and there're ppl questioning they shld put the tigers to slp.
you know, the incident in our zoo, where the tigeresses attacked the cleaner.
he was committing suicide.
i dont understand. why?
if ur life is so painful that u want to end it,
shouldnt u use a less painful way to die?
i personally think that carbon monoxide poisoning's great.
painless.
you get air con [of course im referring to the car, not the burn charcoal mtd. that isnt painless.]
and you can even listen to soothing, classical/angsty rock music while dozing off.

i digress.
anw, wifey said the tigers didnt even bother with him,
and it's only until he provoked them, that they retaliate.
animal instinct. protecting their territory, what else?
i dont understand why ppl want to put them to slp!

i love the tigers at the zoo.
we see them on our way to the baboons, and on the way home.
they laze around all the time.
i have pictures of them huddling together on my blog.
and cute paw prints.

i mean.. in incidents where humans die cos they were attacked by some animal in the zoo,
everyone seems to immediately assume that that animal in question is dangerous.
what did you expect from an animal that belongs to the wild, and is placed under captivity anyway?
that they'd be like house pets? docile little dogs?
even dogs are known to attack.
and in most cases, it's us who provoke/got too near the animals.
then when anything happens, we kill the animal.
i dont understand.
so our lives are precious, and theirs arent?

like how ppl kill polar bears just because the bears venture too near their homes.
i was watching a prog on nat geo.
the ppl there (i forgot where) lived really close to polar bears.
too crowded, so they expanded to the more remote regions.
and now there's a town near where the polar bears.
so, they become like strays, rumaging dustbins for food.
there was this lady who shot a polar bear because it was near the house.
and she defended the murder by saying that she needed to defend the house.
was shooting her only option?
couldnt she run out by the backdoor?
if u're staying in a place where polar bears are known to roam,
why didnt you reinforced ur house's security?
what about super hard steel gates at your doors, and bars on your windows?

im upset.
i love polar bears too. =(
