ah, it was only today, when my colleague asked me when my bday is,
that i realised...

SH: so when's ur bday?
Me: 9th sept...
SH & ST: WOAH that's when a lot of ppl are getting married right?!
Me: HUH?! why! why is everyone getting married on my bday?
cos 99 sounds like jiujiu, which sounds like forever, which is auspicious?
ST: oh no, cos this yr is 090909!!
Me: uh huh...
ST: uuhmmm..
Me: OHHH!!! so it's like so many 9s, it's forever and beyond!!
SH & ST: yeahyeah!
Me: wahlao, i didnt even realise it's 090909. i mean i know it's 2009 but that kind of thing never crosses my mind.

-arashi invades my tiny brain-

Me: OH did you know arashi formed on 9th sept too! same day as my bday!! *gets really unneccessarily eggcited*
Me: u know it's their 10th anniversary this yr! on 090909!
Me: OH AND U KNOW! so that means it started on 9.9.99!
and i can still rmb what happened on 9.9.99!
all my pri sch peeps rmbed my bday. and i went to my fav sec sch's teacher's place for some class outing or sth. hmm.

Me: OH MAN! JE chose such a pretty date for arashi! like when they started it's 9s,
and 10 yrs later it's still full of 9s,
ARASHI WILL BE AROUND TIL FOREVER AND BEYOND YO!!!

Me: ah sorry i got carried away.
