i was watching a hk programme,
and it was about antique clothes or accessories.
meaning that these are all more than 100 years of age.
confused with vintage?
vintage clothes or accessories are like 50 years of age or less,
if i didnt interpret it wrongly.
but the interesting part was about
when did bigger bags became more popular.
before bigger bags came along,
the ladies all used TINY pouches.
omg they're so minute, i really wonder what can i stuff in them.
i hate small bags, i must say.
haha.
im the type that has to lug everything ard.
if the bag's smaller than my water bottle,
i wont use it.
anw, it was only after the war that women started using big handbags.
that's because they had to work after that,
and needed to bring more things ard.
and!
the colour black didnt become fashionable just in our generation.
it became fashionable after 1861 in europe.
it's because in that era, queen victoria's husband passed away,
and she always dressed in black after that.
thus, she kinda started a "black period" then.
interesting.
and i realised,
i still like history =)
