throwing caution to the wind *

i rmb that mr yau,
my physics teacher back in the cedar days,
once said that,
most of the time,
it's the experienced swimmers that drown,
because those who are poor swimmers
wont venture into deeper waters in the first place.

so i guess those who get into accidents,
should mostly be the newbies and the more experienced ppl.
it doesnt mean that just because you're experienced,
you're entitled to throw caution to the wind.

just sth that i felt when some acquaintance boasted.
men and their egos.
some men just have issues w their egos,
cognitive distortions aplenty.
like fen's new friend! haha.

anw, my dad caught a cold this week.
and i suddenly went,
'only those who can swim will drown,
and only those who act macho will catch a cold.'
he always blasts the fan at himself, topless.
act macho, while i wear my sweater. haa.
